Meet Our Staff

Kelcey Rutledge, Project Director
Kelcey has seventeen years of experience working with the Baptist Health Deaconess School Wellness Initiative. His responsibilities include management and oversight of program activities. His previous experience in health care included: health benefits analysis and processing, community development, and management. He is responsible for maintaining the Medication Assist program including: budgeting, finance, bookkeeping, vendor setup, and monitoring. Kelcey holds a BA degree from Clark Atlanta University, and a MBA from Western Kentucky University.

Natalie Begley, Community Health Specialist
Natalie has five years of experience, having joined the Baptist Health Deaconess School Wellness Initiative in December 2013. She has eleven years of experience working in health education, along with ten previous years of teaching experience. Her current responsibilities include coordinating health promotion events (Wellness Tours and trainings); recording, tracking, and monitoring data submitted by 80+ schools and four Project Specialists; database management; producing layouts for newsletters, brochures, and training materials; and providing technical support to staff, community agencies, and schools. Natalie holds a BS in Middle Grades Education and an MAE in Student Affairs, both from Western KY University.

Katie Elkins, Project Specialist
Katie has three years of experience working with the Baptist Health Deaconess School Wellness Initiative. She began working with the Baptist Health Deaconess School Wellness Initiative in January 2015. She has seven years prior experience with the State of Kentucky, Department of Corrections, Division of Probation and Parole. She has her Bachelors of Science from Murray State University.

Rachel Sanchez, Project Specialist
Rachel began working with the Baptist Health Deaconess School Wellness Initiative in February 2017. She has a seven-year work history in public relations. Her experience ranges from legal advising services at a law firm, to student affairs at a community college and college university. Rachel has been involved in many community outreach programs and volunteered in various ways at schools. She attended Murray State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications.

Christopher Price, Sr., Project Specialist
Christopher as five years of experience, having begun working with the Baptist Health Deaconess School Wellness Initiative in July 2013. Chris has ten years of experience working in the school system with youth. He also has four years of management experience. He is involved in various community projects, coaches for the YMCA and high school sports. Chris is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BS in Human Resources Management.

Pamela Sloan, Project Specialist
Pamela has ten years of experience working with the Baptist Health Deaconess School Wellness Initiative and over twenty years of experience in human resources, sales and marketing and non-profit fund raising. She is the Secretary of the Ballard Extension Family and Consumer Science Council and a member of the Healthy Community Grant Project. Pam has served as Vice-Chair on Ballard County’s Community Emergency Response Team and is a member of the Policy Board for the Carlisle and Ballard County Agency for Substance Abuse. Pam also serves as a Red Cross Disaster Assessment Team member. She holds a BA in Psychology from Mid-Continent University and completed her M. Ed. In Human Development and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in April 2013.
