Become a Volunteer

We are always looking for compassionate volunteers. Specialized training is available to train you in assisting primary caregivers in caring for the patients and their families, as well as for serving in a variety of administrative roles. Your support is truly appreciated.

We invite you to use your God-given gifts as part of our special volunteer program. For example, if you are an avid gardener and the caregivers of a patient do not have the time to manage the yard, your time and effort to help maintain the yard would be a great way to volunteer. Or, if you are a pet lover, you can help take care of the family pet. If you love to cook, you can help prepare a meal. Or, sometimes families need a caring person to sit with a patient for a few hours while they take care of other needs. After all, 90 percent of life is just showing up!

Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville Home Care and Hospice serve all patients equally, without regard to race, color, religion or national origin.
